Collection: Bootleg

Bootleg Skateboards was created by Jay (J) Strickland in the early 2000s as Baker Skateboards’ original sister company. The name referenced Strickland’s earlier independent Baker Bootleg video work.

Strickland had co-founded Baker with Andrew Reynolds; Bootleg was distributed under NHS and featured riders including Elissa Steamer, Pete Eldridge, and Anthony Mosley.

The brand was short-lived and folded by the mid-2000s amid industry conflicts Strickland later described publicly; product focus was skate decks and related Baker-era hardgoods.
