Collection: Designarium

Designarium was started in 2004 by street-skating pioneer Natas Kaupas under the manufacturing and distribution of NHS (Santa Cruz’s parent).

Unlike typical pro-driven companies, Kaupas focused Designarium on artists rather than team riders, commissioning limited-edition deck graphics—including reinterpretations of his Santa Monica Airlines panther.

Artists such as Shepard Fairey contributed decks and received royalties similar to pro models; product focus was single-run artistic maple decks.
