RipTide Sports began in Santa Barbara in 2010, founded by Tracey and Brad Miller after a homeschool business-plan project became a real skate retail idea.
By 2012 the company launched its own brand around APS and WFB urethane bushings after Brad’s industrial-design experiments with urethane compounds.
RipTide is known for aftermarket bushings, pivot cups, and related hardware upgrades across longboard, street, e-skate, and other disciplines.
