Expedition One started in 1997 as a U.S. skateboard company dedicated to telling the journeys and lessons of skateboarding.

Its early team included skaters such as Chris Lambert, Stefan Janoski, Chany Jeanguenin, and Ryan Gallant; Jeanguenin is widely cited as a co-founder.

The brand is known for classic deck graphics, apparel (including pants), and being among skater-owned companies that emerged in the 1990s.
