Paris Truck Co. was founded in 2006 by Joey Pulsifer, who Paris’s own site identifies as founder/owner; the brand began after early Riviera longboard ideas needed better trucks.

Paris became known for reverse-kingpin (RKP) longboard trucks used for downhill, freeride, dancing/freestyle, and cruising.

The independently owned company later worked under the Loaded/Orangatang distribution umbrella while continuing to develop cast RKP trucks from Culver City, California.
