About Quasi
Quasi Skateboards is an independent company based in Dayton, Ohio. It launched in 2015 after Alien Workshop’s 2014 shutdown, led by Chad Bowers with riders including Jake Johnson, Gilbert Crockett, and Tyler Bledsoe.
The brand first shipped as Mother Collective, then rebranded to Quasi after a trademark conflict over "Mother." Bowers described the change as "same band, new name."
Quasi produces skate decks and related soft goods with an independent, non-corporate positioning and an eclectic graphic approach.
