About The Quiet Life
The Quiet Life was started in 1997 by photographer and designer Andy Mueller with friends from his OhioGirl design studio, which he founded in 1993. Mueller grew up in the Midwest on BMX, skateboarding, music, and magazines.
Beyond Quiet Life, Mueller has long worked in skate graphics at Girl Skateboards’ “Art Dump,” including art direction for Lakai Limited Footwear and deck graphics for Girl and Chocolate.
The brand is a Los Angeles lifestyle/apparel line known for small-batch hats, tees, and related goods with a quieter, design-led aesthetic rooted in skate and indie culture.
