Slappy Trucks was founded by Mike Sinclair, who began R&D during COVID lockdown instead of other quarantine projects.

The brand’s stated goal is uncompromised turning with high grind clearance; Sinclair spent roughly two years iterating hangers, baseplates, bushings, and kingpins.

Product lines include ST1 Standard, Hollow, and Hollow Inverted trucks in widths from about 8" to 9" for street and park skating.
