Tracker Trucks’ founders Larry Balma, Dave Dominy, and Gary Dodds made prototypes in 1974; the Tracker Fultrack launched in 1975 as a skateboard-specific performance truck.

The brand’s slogan and official history emphasize “Trucks You Can Trust,” developed at San Diego spots such as La Costa, Escondido Reservoir, and the Kona Bowl.

Tracker innovations (wide hangers, aluminum castings, mounting patterns, and related hardware) helped define modern skate truck design through the late 1970s and 1980s.
