Venom was founded in 2007 by Zak Maytum, a U.S. national slalom skateboard champion, who began pouring urethane bushings in his parents’ garage at age 16.

The brand started because few high-performing aftermarket longboard bushings existed that fit trucks properly.

Venom is known for High Performance Formula (HPF) and other urethane bushings and wheels used in downhill, freeride, and related disciplines.
